Advt complaint upheld

PA Wellington The Broadcasting Corporation has upheld a complaint about an advertisement for the film “Puberty Blues,”

being screened at 7 p.m. on Television New Zealand. The Corporation’s board agreed that the trailer for the film did not meet the

requirement that it was cap-

able of being shown at any time — implicit in this being that it should be suitable for children.

The board made the decision on the complaint at a meeting in Wellington on September 28. The decision is published in the latest issue

of the corporation’s magazine. “Broadcaster.”
