New runway
The Australian Federal Aviation Minister, Mr Wall Fife, has announced a new runway for Sydney's Kingsford Smith airport at Mascot and said that plans were under way to find another airport . site to combat congestion at Australia's busiest air terminal. But he immediately ran into a barrage of criticism from southern Sydney residents who oppose the building of a new runway. — Sydney.
