QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN Candidates should be experienced in bacteriological techniques. It is desirable that candidates possess the N.Z.C.S. or it's equivalent but applicants who can demonstrate a good work record in laboratory work, should not be deterred from applying. The appointee will assist in other aspects of the quality control, programmed as required by the quality control manager. QUALITY CONTROL STAFF Preference will be given to persons with previous experience in this field. MEAT GRADERS Experienced graders are sought for our beef, mutton and pig slaughter floors. TIILLLRLf ASSISTANT RECTIFIER OPERATORS As a result of plant expansion the Tiwai Point Aluminium Smelter, near Invercargill, requires Registered Electriciens to work as Assistant Rectifier Operators in its Power Supply section. An Assistant Rectifier Operator aids the Rectifier Controller in the operation and control of the Plant's high voltage power supply and power conversion equipment. Ideally applicants should be registered electricians who are trained power station operators but other registered electricians who would like to be trained in this area should not be deterred from applying, initially the annual earnings of a registered electrician starting in this position, based on current rates and allowances, would be $23,500.
