Auckland trounced
PA Auckland North Sydney trounced Auckland 46*-7 in their rugby league clash at Carlaw Park 1 yesterday. The Sydney team, which included the Kiwis Mark Graham. Fred Ah Knot and the former All Black. Doug Rollerson. scored 10 tries, and impressed- with their speed, proficiency and backing up.
The visitors led 31-2 at half-time, when Nigel Tait replaced Rollerson. Nick Wright had contributed Auckland's points from a penalty. By the sixtieth minute North Sydney was leading 46-2, when a lapse in concentration enabled the Aucklander. Dominic Clark, to run in a try. which Wright converted.
