NZPA staff correspondent Sydney The Allan Jones-trained gelding. Azaking, finished a close second in his Australian debut, the 1600 m September Handicap at Seymour in Victoria on Tuesday. Azaking (Azeman—Jean Silver) shared the lead withChimbu about 150 m from the finish but the Sydney mare Ukase, came storming home on the outside to take the race by a long head, with the favourite, Downer Road, ■ third. Chimbu, which was ridden by the New Zealand apprentice jockey, Tracey Linder, finished fifth, while Jones’s third runner in the field, Focal Point, which was ridden by Philip Aiderman, ran seventh.
