Musical on princess
PA Auckland A promoter and former singer. Lew Pryme. has teamed with the pianist-com-poser, Carl Doy, to write a stage musical based on the life of the late Princess Grace, who died in Monaco on September 15 after a car accident. Called “Fairytale Princess," the show will cover her rise to fame, the starstudded Hollywood days, her romance and marriage to Prince Rainier, and her years as a mother and the tiny principality's first lady. Mr Pryme said that he had completed most of the research he needed before writing the story and Mr Doy already had songs ideally suited.
