Talk on plants
Parliamentary reporter Discussions are being held between New Zealand and Australia on the question of access for New Zealand horticultural nursery stock into Australia. The Minister of Agriculture. Mr Maclntyre, said that he was aware of the nature of Australian quarantine regulations, in reply to a question in Parliament by Mrs Ann Hercus (Lab., Lyttelton).
Her question had been prompted by an article in the June issue of “Commercial Horticulture” about the restrictive Australian quarantine plant regulations.
