PA Wellington Parliament heard when it sat at 9.30 a.m. yesterday that an imprest supply debate would take place on Tuesday evening..

The Speaker, Sir Richard Harrison, advised that the Royal Assent had been given to the Westpac Banking Corporation Bill. The Land Tax (Annual) Bill and the Income Tax (Annual) Bill passed through their committee stages and were set down for a third reading. The committee • stage of the Income Tax Amendment Bill was interrupted by the adjournment at 1 p.m.
