Judy Phillips replaced
PA Wellington Wellington’s women's hockey captain, Gail Rodbourn, has been drafted into the New' Zealand team to tour Britain and the United States this month. Rodbourn, aged’ 29, replaced 'Judy Phillips, of Christchurch, who was forced to withdraw because of a hamstring injury. The team leaves on Sep-
tember 15 for tournaments in Wales and Scotland and will then travel to Boston to play in the American Cup, arriving home on October 15. Rodbourn, who has represented New Zealand since 1980, and Wellington since 1972, is the second tour replacement. Last week, Auckland’s Sandra Mackie was called in when Karen Thomas, of Hawke’s Bay, withdrew.
