Volunteers wanted
New Zealand churches desperately want trained medical volunteers for temporary emergency work in Lebanon. The National Council of Churches and the National Catholic Commission have appealed for doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, and a radiologist willing to work for three months in Lebanon from mid-August. Volunteers chosen will have their expenses paid and work in Beirut. Bekaa Valley, Tripoli, or other areas.
Doctors willing to become locums for those travelling to Lebanon are also wanted.
