Notice is hereby given that , the Ranglora Borough Council, proposes, for the purpose of permitting the Rangiora Businessmen's Association to conduct "Community Day Activities." to close the following portion of State Highway 72 (High Street) to ordinaryvehicular traffic for the period . indicated hereunder:During the proposed period of closure the following provision will be made for ordinary vehicular traffic which would otherwise use the street:-West bound trafficDetour via north along Ashley Street, west along Blackett Street and south along Durham Street. East bound traffic-Detour via north along Durham Street, east along Blackett Street and south along Ashley Street. Any person objecting to the proposal is called upon to lodge a notice of objection and the grounds thereof in writing before 4.30 p.m. on Thursday. October 7. 1982 at the office of the Council. The portion of State Highway 72 (High Street) proposed to be closed to ordinary vehicular traffic is:— Between, immediately west of the intersection of Ashley Street and immediately east of the intersection with Percival Street.
