Stablemates trial well at Riccarton
Firefly and Bilberry, runners for the Thistoll stable in the T.A.B. double at Ashburton on Saturday, came through their winding-up gallops satisfactorily in the Riccarton training yesterday. Firefly hurried over 1200 m on the plough in lmin 15s. the last 800 m in 495. Bilberry appeared in blinkers to breeze over 600 m on the plough in 37.25. She is a picture of sleek condition for her engagement against the sprinters at Ashburton.
