Franklin wins soccer
Franklin came from behind to head Canterbury off in what was virtually the final of the national fourteenth grade soccer tournament at Manurewa yesterday.
In a fast sixth-round match Canterbury led by 1-0 at half-time. However, a defensive error enabled Franklin to equalise, and it eventually went ahead with a penalty 3min from full-time.
