PA Wanganui Auckland’s Barry Griffiths re;ained his New Zealand under-18 toys' singles title for the first time in three years and matched his 1979 effort of scooping the pool of all three grade crowns at the New Zealand table tennis championships in Wanganui yesterday. For the. past two years Griffiths has been forced to play second fiddle to Australians in
the under-18 singles but he certainly dominated his grade this week. The top seed was untroubled to beat second seeded Peter Jackson (Auckland), son of seventimes national open champion Bob Jackson. 21-11. 21-12. in a one-sided final. Team results included Frank- . Lin 10. Canterbury 1 (A grade men) and Canterbury 7, Otago 2 (A grade women).
