Tasman rivalry was delivered to a group of businessmen in Adelaide on Monday. ,Mr Fraser told the group that they could “beat the Kiwis” even with the closer economic relationship agreement. . i Mr Fraser had just finished explaining why the Government had rejected the call from B.H.P. for more steel industry protection. An interjector suggested that without Government assistance on some industries the New Zealanders, under C.E.R., would "rip the pants off us.”
