Two killed in head-on collision

PA ' Dunedin Two men were killed and another two persons were seriously injured in a headon collision 33km south of Cherry Farm Hospital, north of Dunedin, early yesterday morning. The men killed were the drivers of the two cars. They were Keith Alan Harris, aged 51, of Paisley Court, Invercargill; and Mark Stuart Wilson, aged 22, of Dunedin. The two passengers travelling with Mr Harris were his wife Lynette Harris, aged 38, and her mother, Martha Taylor, aged 66, of Invercargill. Mrs Harris is reported in a critical condition in Dunedin Hospital, with multiple injuries. Mrs Taylor is reported in a satisfactory condition. Mr Wilson was the sole occupant of his car. A police spokesman said the accident happened at 6.15 a.m. Road conditions in the area were particularly icy at the time.
