Two withdraw appeals

Two of five men convicted and fined for offences involving the training of severalhorses at a hearing two months ago in Auckland have abandoned their appeals against the decisions. Those to withdraw their appeals were E. T. Macdonald, of Sydney, and formerly of Auckland, and W. Flynn, of Auckland. Appeals by K. Leighton, of Sydney, A. Clapham, of Auckland and P. K. Ryder, of Christchurch, will be heard in Christchurch early in October. -
