Hips 45

Hip Singles have recorded a single.in Auckland for Hit Singles, an independent label that will be distributed by RCA. The band has returned to Christchurch for two weeks after an extensive North Island tour, to settle their affairs before they move to Auckland permanently.

Two new songs were recorded for the single at Harlequin Studios. The A side is "This Is Goodbye,”, and it is backed by “After The Party.” Dick Driver, the band’s lead vocalist, said that the single should be released in about six weeks. Hip Singles will be playing at the Hillsborough Tavern for the next two weeks.
