Regular parades at Fashion Court
A Fashion Court with interest for women of all ages is a feature of the 1982 New Zealand Industries Fair. One of the major attractions of the Fashion Court is the regular fashion parades, where models will be showing a wide range of fashion
wear, including leisure, afternoon wear, and after five. Inaddition, malemodels will be showing the latest in men's fashions including leisure wear to three piece suits. Virtually every day there will be hairdressing demon-strations-by leading Christ-
church salons and stylists, many of whom were prize winners in the CanterburyWestland Hairdressing Competitions earlier this month: with waving, tinting, and men’s and children's styles. Beauty therapy demonstrations include eyelash tinting, facial massage, skin
treatments and hair removal. Of special appeal to teenagers and the more mature, will be makeup demonstrations featuring the changing face of fashion. Jazzercize demonstrations will be held at the weekends. In view of the public interest in the Fashion Court, a number of display areas have been set aside around
the Fashion Court, where the public can discuss with exhibit staff aspects of makeup, health and fashion. In view of the strong interest in the 1981 Fashion Court, this year's court is double the size, with permanent tiered seating built in. This court has been coordinated by Isobel Pinson, the Christchurch director of the Belda Agency.
