Syrie Boye, will be away ■ from racing for several 1 weeks after injuring a hoof, i The Wingatui galloper was ‘ a last start winner at Wai- > mate on July 17 and was among 11 horses in the team i of Tony and Lyn Prendergast to bolt from a paddock adjacent to their stables. . ‘Some of the horses were located up to five kilometres from the stable. Syrie Boye. suffered worst in the escapade. He cast a shoe and wore a hoof to the quick. He now has a special boot on the injured foot. Three of the horses re- : quired stitches for cuts received.
