McPhail and Gadsby
David McPhail and Jon Gadsby will make a brief appearance on One on Saturday. at 7 p.m.. in a “McPhail And Gadsby Special.”
The programme will look at the work the two comics have done in the last six months, with the best sketches selected for a repeat screening, plus many new bits and pieces not used in the last series. Included will be a film, “Origins of the Politician.” which David McPhail impishly describes a$ a "natural history film wtich explores where the politicians came from and why did they have to come to New Zealand?"
As well, the intrepid Nanny from the Royal Nursery. will keep viewers up to date now that the “wee bairn" has arrived, and she will also give her interpretation of the Queen’s intruder.
Also included in the programme will be the farmer’s
song — “Whine, Whine, Whine.”
