Town milk final payout 22.26c
PA Wellington The final payout to the New Zealand town, milk producers for the present season will be 22.26 c a litre.
This was announced yesterday by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Aust tin), who said the Govern■ment was adamant its price freeze regulations relating to milk would , not-change, and there would be no alteration in retail prices.
Announcing the advance contract price for the. 1982-83 supply season, Mr Austin said that it would remain in line with past practices. The new season’s price to producers will be 21.54 c a litre, effective from September 1.
