Country rugby clash
Glenmark. which has dominated country club rugby, for the last decade, will face Southbridge at Denton Oval this evening in the annual match to find the top country side. Glenmark is once again the North CanterburyHurunui champion and Southbridge just pipped Kirwee for • the Ellesmere title. Glenmark, against various opponents, has won the
play-off the four years it has been held. The game will start at 7.30 p.m. and the curtain-raiser at 6 p.m. will be between the Ellesmere runner-up, Kirwee, and the top Hurunui side, United. The winner of tonight’s main game will return to Denton Oval in a fortnight to meet the champion town side, either Marist or University A. .
