Pottery
More new colours, finishes and styles continue to appear at the Creek Pottery Shop at Spring Creek. s
It is a notable outlet for more than 60 of this country’s top potters, and there is a’ tremendous variety of items, from sturdy, stoneware casseroles to elaborate Grecian urns in porcelain: from bowls, plates, cups and teapots to wine goblets, vases, planters, chimes — even ceramic murals; figurines and ornamental ringholders.
Colours range from soft pastel to rich deep hues, and surface ■ treatments include delicate, hand-scribed patterns. '
The shop's proprietor. Mr Mack Clough, says' that he and his Wife, Marina, travel around “all the exhibitions." attending official openings as buvers.
The standard of craftsmanship they select is such that the Cloughs send pottery not only to Australia but to many more distant countries as well.
