500 people expected at congress

About 500 people will gather to hear 20 international guest speakers at the South Pacific congress in medical laboratory technology at the Christchurch Town Hall this week.

The congress will be opened by the Minister of Health (Mr Malcolm) on Wednesday. It will be preceded today and tomorrow by workshops designed for laboratory scientists to keep pace with advancing technology and developments.

A trade exhibition will be held at the same time.
