PRELIMINARY SUBMISSIONS ARE INVITED FROM INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS MATTERS THEY CONSIDER SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN. Al a later date Board will publish a draft plan, juvite submissions on that draft, hear submissions, and prepare a final plan. The Board has investigated the resources of the Ashley Catchment and the associated groundwater system and publishedTHE WATER RESOURCES OF THE ASHLEY CATCHMENT” This publication will be distributed to local authorities, government departments, and organisations having interests in the catchment. THE NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY PUBLIC NOTICE COUNCIL VACANCIES NOMINATIONS ARE INVITED to reach the undersigned. not later than August 31. 1982, from registered members of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, to fill vacancies occurring in respect to the Society's following sub-districts, as pursuant to Rules 8 and 9. (a) The City of Christchurch, and boroughs of Lyttelton and Riccarton. and the Counties of Waimairi and Heathcote. 2 MEMBERS (b) The Counties of Ellesmere. Springs. Halswell, Paparua. Mount Herbert. Akaroa and Wairewa, and the borough of Akaroa. and the town districts of Leeston and Southbridge. 1 MEMBER (c) The Counties of Oxford. Eyre. Rangiora. and the boroughs of Kaiapoi and Rangiora. 1 MEMBER (d) The Counties of Selwyn. Malvern and Tawera. 1 MEMBER Nominations must indicate the sub-district within which the nominee resides and in respect of which he is nominated. All such nominations for office shall be in writing, signed by the proposer and seconder, and containing the nominee’s written acceptance, and all must be registered members of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society.
