The Budget
Sir. — To some of your older readers, after they have perused the latest Budget details, will come to mind that well-known song, composed during another economic depression several decades ago: “ . . . . .there’s nothing surer, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. . .” The Wellington Beehive miracle worker with yet another budget as this, is perhaps striving to disprove the late Abraham Lincoln in trying to fool most of the people all of the. time. —
