Falklands service

Sir,—All right-thinking New Zealanders must have been greatly impressed by the grit and pluck shown by the British

Prime Minister (Mrs Margaret Thatcher) in refusing the Archbishop of Canterbury permission to recite the Lord's Prayer in Spanish at the Falklands victory commemoration service in London. It would have been quite useless for his Lordship to have addressed the Deity in Spanish anyway for, as we all know, God is an Englishman. — Yours, etc., M. T. MOORE. July 29, 1982.
