Scandal, poverty and tension on ‘Close Up’
The prospect of an Indiandominated Government in Fiji and the hint-of scandal in the election campaign are the themes of Alison Parr’s first report from Fiji, on “Close Up” on One at 8 p.m. today. “Poverty in God’s Own" is the title of a report tfy John Bishop, who has investigated
the tragic plight of the poor in a country where it is not supposed to happen -r- NewZealand. Pre-menstrual tension is only just being recognised as a serious illness now blamed for suicides and murder. Martyn Bates will report on the subject.
