Complaint upheld
PA Wellington A formal complaint about crude and coarse language in Tom Scott's play. "Press for Service" has been upheld by the board of the Broadcasting Corporation, according to a statement by the Society for Promotion of Community Standards. The corporation, in a letter to the society, said the extent of use of the language complained of. and the manner of its use in the play were excessive. The society listed 25 phrases from the play.
