Suspicious fire
Christchurch detectives are investigating a fire which damaged the stairway to the Atami Bath House in Hereford Street early yester day morning. ' . .The fire, which started just before 1 a.m., was quickly brought under control by the Fire ServiceSix staff and customers escaped by fire access to the roof of a neighbouring building. One man was taken to Christchurch Hospital and treated for minor effects of smoke inhalation.
