Sale cleared
The Western Australian Government's approval of the sale of a cattle station to an Aboriginal group was a breakthrough in race relations in the state, according to the Aboriginal Development Commission chairman, Charles Perkins. The government yesterday cleared the way for the sale of the controversial Carson River Eastoral station near Kalumuru, ending an impasse between the government and the commission. — Perth.
