The products of this world renowned manufacturer of very limited output, are sold only through about 300 outlets throughout the world. Established in 1710 by Augustus the Strong, King of Poland, 'Meissen' is still looked upon as Europe's earliest porcelain manufacturer. Even today the items are copied from original 18th Century designs and are still fully hand-modelled and decorated. A certificate establishing its authenticity is available with each piece in this range of figures, vases, jugs and dishes. The items illustrated were designed by Johann Joachim Kaenler in 1740.
