Ten goals ‘impossible’
NZPA Elche The Belgian manager, Guy Thys, said yesterday that El Salvador, beaten 10-1 by Hungary on Wednesday, was not a World Cup-class team. “El Salvador does not have a team to play in the World Cup," he told reporters, but he - did not think Belgium
could score 10 goals against the Salvadorans when they play them on Sunday morning in group three. "These results rarely occur and it is very difficult to repeat," he said. “I think it would be almost impossible for us to score 10 goals.” Belgium beat the defending champion, Argentina, 1-0, in the opening match.
