Fraser’s 100 tries
PA Wellington The All Black and Wellington wing Bernie Fraser's hattrick of tries for Wellington yesterday took him past the 100 first class try mark. He became the eleventh New Zealander to reach 100. “It was a bit of a long wait from 99, and it was a great thrill to score in the third minute and give us a handy
early lead." he said last evening. “It's times like this you feel most for the guys who helped get the ball to'you so you could get tries. "It’s a nice personal milestone but I want more before much longer. To hold the shield we have to score points and it doesn’t matter who gets them. If it’s me, that’s cool." Fraser said.
