Teachers’ colleges

PA Palmerston North A Labour government would keep the six New Zealand teachers’ colleges open, said the Opposition's spokesman on education, Mr C. R. Marshall, yesterday. He was one of six Labour members of Parliament looking at education and science facilities in Palmerston North. With him were Mr P. T. E. Woollaston, Mr G. W. R. Palmer, Dr B. C. Gregory, and Dr M. J. Cullen — all members of Labour’s education and science caucus committee — and the member for Palmerston North, Mr T. A. de Cleene.
