Carter Holt expands
The directors of Carter Holt Holdings. Ltd. and M. K. Hunt Foundation. Ltd announce that agreement has been reached for the acquisition by Carter Holt Holdings of the 78 per cent interest of M. K. Hunt Foundation in Wood Export. Ltd. for a cash consideration. The consent of the Examiner of Commercial prac-
tices has been granted to the transaction. Wood Export. Ltd is primarily engaged in the export of wood chips to Japan through Mt Maunganui. Continuity of employment for all employees of Wood Export. Ltd. is assured, and the operations of the company will be continued under the existing management.
