P.M. looks to renewed ties
PA ' Wellington New Zealand's relations with Argentina should be back on their "normal, friendly footing" as soon as possible, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) last evening- , "British firmness made the outcome inevitable, but the fewer the lives lost in acknowledging it the better for both sides,” he said. “I hope the agreement now reached marks the end of this ill-judged attempt to settle a territorial dispute by force."
