Marcos in landslide
The ruling New Society Movement of President Ferdinand Marcos* is headed for a landslide victory in elections to two legislative assemblies in the autonomous regions of southern Philippines. Unofficial returns compiled by the local news media showed the movement leading by a wide margin over the opposition Concerned Citizens’ Group in western Mindanao and a fewIndependents in central Mindanao. A Concerned Citizens candidate was leading in , Zamboanga City, but the group will not'win a seat unless his party wins enough votes in' western Mindanao. — Manila. ■ ■ - • >,<
