Pine seed to Aust.
PA Wellington Radiata pine seed worth $28,000 has been sold to Australia by the New Zealand Forest Service. The service’s director of forest management, Mr Robin Cutler, said that 630 kg of seed, the largest order from Australia, was sent to the Forests Commission in Victoria last week. He said that the seed was in great demand in Australia because of its high germination rate.
