New motor-cycle stolen
A new $B5OO motor-cycle was stolen in a burglary of Tommy's Yamaha. Ltd.'362 St Asaph Street, at Queen’s Birthday week-end. The stolen machine is a red Suzuki Le Mans Guzzi. registration number 14 GAX. Nothing else was taken in the burglary. The Christchurch police yesterday had the usual rash of burglary complaints which follows a long week-end. many of them to shops and businesses in the central city. The Papanui police were yesterday investigating an extensive milk-money raid on Monday night, a' week after the price of milk increased from 25c to 30c a bottle. The thieves worked mainly in the Daniels Road, Grimseys Road, and Dunedin Street area of Redwood.
