West Coast team
The West Coast rugby, team to play Canterbury, at Greymouth next week has been announced. The team was chosen by the selector, Mr Arthur Dawson, after watching the Dittman Shield match between Greymouth and Westland on Monday. Wayne Gugich (St Mary’s) who played in the centres for Westland on Monday, moves to full-back while Paul Aukistino (Kiwi) goes to the wing
after playing at first fiveeighths. The second five-eighths for Westland, Stu Wyness, will be the first five-eighths in the Coast team, with the Blaketown captain, Dave Lynch, as second fiveeighths. The team is: Gugich: D. King (StarUnited). C. Power (Star-Unitea). Aukistino. Lynch, Wyness; C. Stewart (Blaketown); W. Monk (Blaketown); A. Bruhn (Blaketown). M. Wynyard (South Westland), G. Crawford (Star United). B. Hopkins (Star United); P. Davidson (St Mary’s). G. Patterson (Star United). J. Walton (Biaketown).
