A touchy subject
One of the most popular aspects of the latest series of “The Twa Ronnies." is the serial. "The Worm That Turned." featuring Diana Dors as the awesome commander of the deadly allfemale secret police. The serial was written by
Gerald Wiley, alias Ronnie Barker. Barker admits that the theme of the serial — the war of the sexes, and the imminent, crushing victory of women — was a touchy subject, but then that was its appeal.
