Phosphate carrier due today
About 12.000 tonnes of phosphate will be discharged from a ship due at Lyttelton today. She is the 14,667-tonne Star Castor, which has sailed from Jacksonville, Florida. On board, the Star Castor has diammonium phosphate as well as standard phosphate from Florida. The Star Castor, which has called at Lyttelton several times,: is expected to be in port for about five days before sailing to New Plymouth and Auckland. Yesterday saw the departure of the Baltic Shipping Company vessel. Warnemunde. to Dunedin. The 7192-tonne Warnemunde has been at port loading wool and general cargo to be shipped to Europe and Russia. Arrivals Botany Trader (6.30 a.m.). 2804, Brisbane (Scales).
