Care for elderly

Sir,—Recently I took two pre-schoolers with me. to visit their great-grandmother who is in a hospital for the elderly in your city. I wish I could have recorded on film the delight these little boys created in the eyes of the residents. Many of the elderly ladies just sit all day and this contact with children could be very helpful to both old and young. Perhaps kindergartens could do this on a regular basis. I am sure that matrons of these establishments would be only too happy to co-operate. — Yours, etc., E. MAZEY. May 31, 1982.
