Qantas to fly from Adelaide

NZPA Adelaide Qantas will offer two flights a week to Singapore, and one to Auckland, when Adelaide Airport is upgraded, later this year. The flights were scheduled from November, but they would be introduced earlier if the new facilities were completed, said the chairman of Qantas, Mr Jim Leslie.

Mr Leslie said that Qantas would fly to Singapore each Wednesday and Saturday, with both flights connecting with services to London. The return flights would arrive in Adelaide each Wednesday and Friday. Flights from Auckland would land in Adelaide each Thursday morning, and return the same day to Auckland.
