Tough double-header
In the first week-end of the Countrywide Basketball League 3ZM-Canterbury faces a tough double-header in which it meets Drake Personnel-Waitemata today and 2ZB-Centrals (Wellington) tomorrow, both at Cowles Stadium.
Canterbury will approach each game with a different attitude, but the same ultimate goal of completing the week-end with two wins. Against Waitemata Canterbury will be trying to make it three in a row. Waitemata, last year’s league champion, was beaten twice by Canter-

The Canterbury coach, Murray Mackay, has named a strong team of 10 for both matches.
The team is: John Hill, Andy Bennett, Gilbert Gordon, Lance Dixon, Dave Usmar, Al Robson, John Whelan (captain). John Wright. Bede Hall. Chris Dobbs.
