COURSES TO START SOON DEPARTMENT OF METAL TRADES NZS 4711: Places are still available in our NZS 4711 Arc Welding Qualification course. This class is suitable for welders wishing to upgrade their skills in manual arc welding to test standard. Applicants should be skilled or semi skilled tradesmen or have had at least two years' experience in the welding industry. On completion of the course, students will be given the opportunity to sit the formal NZS 4711 Arc Welders Qualification test. NZIW 'A' GRADE WELDERS CERTIFICATE: This course is available for skilled and semi skilled welders or for students with four years’ experience in the welding industry. Applicants should hold, or be able to pass, the NZS 4711 Arc Welders Qualification test. This class prepares the student for the NZIW examination which is held in November.
