The appointee would have a chemical or mechanical engineering background. at least ten years postgraduate experience, a specialist interest in a relevant area and a proven high performance record in an investigational or R and D role. Salary to $35,731. RESEARCH OFFICER with at least five years postgraduate experience in the field of management services, particularly industrial engineering, operations research and economics. The appointee would be expected to provide economic expertise to Institute projects, assist with a planning function for technological development and carry out specific lE/OR projects. Salary to $30,127. Both positions require considerable initiative and self motivation plus the ability to relate to a multidisciplinary R and D and industrial environment.
