Indoor bowls win to Ashburton
Ashburton indoor bowlers soundly beat a Canterbury town team in their annual contest at Ashburton. 60-24. The Ashburton players,. Jack Robertson, Murray Lister, Norm Bishop. John Bullock and John Lister all performed well, to win ?ach of their three games. Town players, who have dominated singles play this season, failed to adjust to the conditions and went down by 18 games to six in this section. Results . — (Town names first):— SINGLES B.
